Black Umbrella Studio is a premier photography and videography studio in Huntsville, Alabama, offering a professional creative space for photographers, filmmakers, brands, and content creators.


Located in the heart of Rocket City, our studio features a large white cyclorama (cyc) wall, versatile shooting bays, and professional lighting designed for high-quality photo shoots, video production, product photography, fashion, headshots, and commercial content.

EDDIE HURSKIN

Eddie Hurskin is a published professional photographer with more than 34 years of experience spanning motorsports, collegiate athletics, and fashion. As the Managing Director of Black Umbrella Studio in Huntsville, Alabama, he brings a seasoned eye, technical mastery, and a deep understanding of visual storytelling to every project. His diverse background and decades behind the lens continue to shape the studio’s standard for high-quality, professional imagery.

As Creative Strategist & Producer at Black Umbrella Studio, Kennedy specializes in bringing ideas to life through thoughtful visual storytelling and seamless production.
